Love Island 2021, The Morning After Vodcast

In 2021, The Morning After Podcast launched their first ever vodcast episodes with exclusive extra content on the ITV Hub. It was a fast turn around edit using Premiere Pro that would be edited in the early hours of the morning to go live on the Hub at 6am the next day.


Good Morning Britain Britbox Version for USA, Online Content

Working on a daily strict deadline to ensure that the daily GMB is condensed to 40 minutes for viewers who subscribe to Britbox - ITV and BBC owned subscription on demand TV service for USA and Canada.  Responsibilities include constructing the opening title graphic sequences, cutting down show segments. Replacing archive in packages to ensure that they comply and fall within the remit of the accepted weekly budget and check all content is adherent to American TV standards.  Re-editing News VTs that were not legally permitted in the US and Canada which included commercial music or  footage and research to find suitable replacements without damaging the integrity of the original edit. Sole responsibility of working as a stand-in Producer as well as Editor for Britbox when Producer was unavailable - this included additional responsibilities of working collaboratively with TV Presenters and Directors to ensure all relevant segments were recorded. Liaising with Library, Archive and Music Departments to obtain legal clearance on items which can be used in America and Canada. Cutting down all segments of the show and finalising checks to ensure that all SOT’s were chosen for teases and openers.

MTV Tastebuds, Online Content

 Editing content for social media and for the MTV website and YouTube pages. Working on a strand that saw members of the MTV staff try out food from different countries and reviewing them. Using Premiere Pro to edit the content, making sure that the style of the videos were relevant to the target audience of teenagers and early twenties. Colour grading the content and adding sound effects to appeal to the target audience. 



Goodwood Festival Of Speed / Revival Festival 2017, Online Content

Editing footage with Premiere Pro from the Live OB feed, producing 85-90 edits a day from the events of the race track as they happen and exporting them to various social media channels which have an audience reach 100,000+. Reacting to breaking news. Working closely with the client of Goodwood and the Social Media Managers of Engage Sports Media to make sure all goals for each day were met. Re-hired back to cover the next big festival at Goodwood - Revival, producing fast turn around edits for social media using rushes filmed an hour before. Ingesting and editing Go Pro Footage from the cars that are part of the competitive races - up to 15 a race, working to fast turn around.

Editing in Premiere Pro, producing GVs and Interviews for the clients website The Digital News Agency (DNA), which is a media centre providing over 37,000 global broadcasters, journalists, web editors and key social influencers with content. Making adjustments to edits that have already been done, working to the clients requests. Editing online promos for high end clients including IWC, Bacardi, Jaguar and The Economist. Building Motion Graphics in After Effects to the clients brief. Colour Grading videos to make them work to Broadcast Industry Standards, some of them specifically focusing on certain mis-en-scene.
